Engineering for Kids

VEX Robotics- 7 Weeks
Using VEX components, students will build essential structures and object manipulators.  They are tasked with designing and building a robot to play in a game-based engineering challenge.  Students will gain experience operating a robot using both a controller and simple autonomous programming.  This class is for students who have taken the EFK Robotics lessons previously.

Fee: $154 plus $25 material fee to be paid at first meeting

Jr. Robotics- 7 Weeks
Robotics engineering combines many areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to develop useful machines that run on automatic controls. This class is designed to introduce students to the concepts of robotics, automation, programming, and the Engineering Design Process. Students will walk away from this class with a basic understanding of how robots are designed and programmed.
