Registration will be taken on a first-come basis until each class is filled.
Registration must be made and signed by the Parent or Guardian.
 
 
COVID Guidelines for Swim Lessons
Tiny Tots, Beginner Level: Parents must be in the water with their child throughout the entire lesson. Regardless of the child’s age. ONLY one parent can enter the pool deck.
 
Advanced Beginner: Swimmer must be able to swim one lap and know the freestyle. Only swimmers are allowed on the pool deck. Parents must wait in the parking lot.
 
Intermediate Level: Swimmer must be able to swim 2 laps and know 2 strokes. Only swimmers are allowed on the pool deck. Parents must wait in the parking lot.
 
On the first day of class, ALL swimmers in Advanced Beginner and Intermediate levels will be tested, if they are not ready for the level they will be asked to get out of pool and a REFUND will be issued.
 
COVID Guidelines for Parents & Students
  • Students will line up in the parking lot before each class. Temperatures will be taken, and they will be asked if they have the following symptoms: Cough, Shortness of Breath, Fever.
  • Tiny Tots, Beginners & Parent & Me classes: A parent Must be in the water with their child for the lesson. No other spectators will be allowed on the pool deck.
  • Advanced Beginners, Intermediate and Swimmer level students will be brought in by staff and brought to their classes. No parents will be allowed on the pool deck.
  • Parents of the higher-level students will wait in the parking lot until class is over.
  • While attending any class on district property Everyone MUST ALWAYS be wearing a face mask and maintain 6 feet apart from non-family members.

    • Children in diapers, or who are not potty trained, must wear a SWIM DIAPER.
    • Appropriate swimwear, as defined by the pool staff is required. “Street” clothing, cut-offs, tee-shirts, and bras are not permitted as swimwear.
    • Pools may close due to water contamination, dangerous weather, rain, impure air, or lightning. There will be NO Make-Up Classes.
    • Guardians are responsible for supervising children. Lifeguards are responsible for rule enforcement and responding to emergencies.
    • Most, but not all, pool rules are posted, however all guests must always follow the direction of the pool staff.
    • The Recreation Department has a “ZERO TOLERANCE” and reserves the right to refuse service or ask a participant to leave the program to anyone including parent, grandparent or students who uses foul language, rough play, or is disrespectful towards our guest or any staff member. Remember treat one another as you wish to be treated, character counts!
    • Parents must remain on the pool deck during students 30-minute lesson. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • Lesson Check-In On the first day of each session please check in at the “Check-In Table” to get the name of your child’s instructor. When checking in for session II & III, it is the PARENTS’ RESPONSIBILITY to inform the check-in staff of the student moving to the next level. Parents must show the swim certificate they were given at the end of the previous session, which states the level the student will be moving into.
    • There will be NO RECREATIONAL SWIM this summer.

  • Swim suit must be worn.
  • Colored T-shirts or cut-offs are not allowed.
  • Bathing caps suggested but not required.
  • Jewelry should NOT be worn at the pool.
  • Pool staff is not responsible for lost items.
  • Infants and toddlers must wear a Swim Diaper.
